Karaoke Kick-Off
Mark your calendars now and save the date for our membership celebratory bash! Meet other parents and students at the PTA’s Karaoke Kick-Off, Friday, October 29, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., on the Ericson campus. Admission will be $2.00 per person, free to Ericson students and PTA members.
Back-to-School Night
Come meet your child’s teacher, the staff, the PTA board, and other parents at the annual Back-to-School Night, 6:30 p.m. Thursday, September 30, in the MU room at Ericson. There will be a presentation by Principal Linette da Rosa and our first PTA Unit meeting of the year. All parents and family members are encouraged to attend. The PTA will provide childcare for the younger children.
Stop by the MU room and socialize with other parents after the classroom visitations when PTA will be selling Cold Stone ice cream for 50˘.
Student Store Opens 09/14
We can meet most of your school supply needs at the Student Store! The Store will be open 7:30 – 7:45 a.m. across from Room 63 on Tuesdays and Fridays beginning September 14. Items are offered at a very low price and the small profit that is made helps to offset the costs of student rewards and recognitions. 2004-05 Ericson T-shirts
Orders forms for Ericson T-shirts will be sent home September 13. Youth-sized T-shirts are $3.00; Adult sizes small through XXXL are $8.00. Long-sleeved T-shirts are also available. Youth sizes are $10.00 and adult sizes are $12.00. This is not a fundraiser. Ericson PTA is offering these shirts at or below cost as a service to our community.
The sale ends September 24. Shirts will be delivered in early October. No late orders can be accepted and this will be the only opportunity to purchase these shirts.

New Wall Ball Courts
to be Built
Last year’s Masterpiece Cookie Dough sale generated the funds that Ericson PTA has donated to the school to build new wall ball courts for the upper blacktop. Wall Ball is one of the more popular recess games for students in the upper grade levels with crowds of students waiting for a turn to play each day. The students are excited to know that they will have more courts built later this school year. This is something the students have wanted for a very long time.
