John Daley, Ericson PTA's parliamentarian, was recruited to the PTA simply to run the popcorn machine at movie nights.  From there he caught the PTA bug and quickly rose to become a two-term president 2005-07.

 

John was instrumental in developing a relationship with Ericson Elementary and Vulcan Materials to secure a donation which provided each classroom with a special container for classroom emergency and disaster supplies.

 

John is devoted to Mira Mesa.  He is a member of the Mira Mesa Town Council board, the 4th of July Committee, and the Street Fair Committee, and is active with Mira Mesa Girls Softball. John's strong personality and powerful voice shine at local events where he is often seen as Elvis.
